Since its opening in 1867, Sainte-Anne Hospital has constantly evolved. Designed according to innovative principles for the care of psychiatric patients, it now blends historic buildings, modern constructions, and green spaces designed to promote care and well-being within the site.

In this multi-voiced tour, with the head gardener and his team, as well as our guide Charlotte Capdevielle, you will discover the architecture, history, and botany of Sainte-Anne Hospital.

The MAHHSA (Museum of Art and History of Sainte-Anne) is the first hospital museum dedicated to art to have been awarded the “Musée de France” designation, in 2016. It explores all forms of connections between art and psychiatry.

Its mission is to preserve, restore, study, and enrich the collection, as well as to make it accessible to the widest possible audience.
